megatask
Automated engineering.
No steps skipped.
A Claude Code orchestration workflow for long coding tasks. A manager drives a queue of issues through specification, implementation, testing, review and git integration, with workers running in separate tmux sessions and git worktrees.
How Megatask orchestrates coding agents
- 01
Prepare
Write a specification, split the work into issues and review the requirements before implementation.
- 02
Run
A manager session launches Claude Code workers in tmux, each in its own git worktree. Workers implement tasks and provide test evidence.
- 03
Review and integrate
The manager checks results against the specification and merges finished work. Conflicts and unresolved issues come back to you.

What is Megatask?
Megatask is a software engineering workflow implemented as one open-source skill package. It coordinates a manager session and worker sessions across a queue of coding issues, with checks for specifications, tests, review and integration.
What do I need to run it?
You need Claude Code, git, tmux 3.0 or later, and the superpowers plugin. Workers use separate git worktrees. Other coding CLIs may be configurable, but have not been tested.
Does it replace engineering review?
No. Megatask automates the workflow around engineering checks; it does not guarantee correct software. You review the initial specification and supervise work that matters. Unresolved conflicts and decisions are escalated to you.
Is Megatask available yet?
The skills are available now on GitHub. The paid companion guide and checkout are still being prepared.
Are the plugins free?
The skills are free under the MIT license. The optional companion guide will be offered at a price you choose, starting at €1. Claude Code and any model usage have their own costs.
